DescriptionBO01BO609: Boker Plus Field MarshalBoker Plus
This rather unusual design by knifemaker Todd Begg has become very popular with many knife aficionados. His latest folding knife, the Field Marshal, is once again characterized by its extravagant style. At the same time, he puts great emphasis on high utility value and function. You can sense the perfect ergonomics of this knife when you have barely touched it, each finger easily finds its place on the handle. The curved blade with the characteristic milled slots is made of 440C stainless steel, and features a notched thumb ramp for grip enhancement. The flipper allows for a quick and easy opening for both right-handed and left-handed users. The solid steel liner, with a thickness of 2.5mm, holds the blade securely in the open position. The notches in the liner provide easy handling. The pocket clip (tip-down carry) reflects the shape of the handle and completes the package. A strong pocket knife, not only an eyecatcher but also a reliable everyday companion.
The Field Marshal is Boker Plus' production version of a custom design by Begg. The handle is the first thing you notice when pulling the knife from it’s packaging and then it’s the excellent quality. The 5-1/8″ G10 handle is extremely thick with solid liners and is very nicely shaped for hard use cutting. The 3-3/4″ 440C blade can be opened with the milled thumb slots or the flipper and it’s excellently shaped to stab, slice, or for roll cuts.
