Wow! What a beautiful knife by Buck. Designed by their own Design Supervisor Mark Mclean, the Verge is a unique blend of materials and style that makes this knife a sight to see. Starting at the blade, the 154CM stainless steel blade is forged into a drop point shape. While you may want to keep it as a show piece, 154CM is a high caliber steel with great performance and corrosion resistance. The handles are made from ironwood with lightning strike carbon fiber bolsters and a flame anodized titanium insert. Included with the Verge is a genuine leather sheath and a certificate of authenticity that is serialized with a total quantity of 250. We are huge fans of Buck's Annual Legacy Collection and this year is no different.

154CM Steel

Excellent edge retention, great corrosion resistance and for heavy cutting applications. For best performance, Buck hardens to a standard Rc 59-61.
