1. Open the cover and pour water on the wheels.
2. Hold the grip tightly and move the blade back and forth through the guidance slot.
3. After sharpening, open the cover and clean the inside with water.

Note: The Kasumi Diamond Sharpener is designed for the slimmer Japanese style knives, which are sharpened on both sides. It is not suitable for those specialist items such as Sashimi Knives, which are sharpened on one side only, nor for some of the broader-bladed European style knives.
