Custom Knife Factory might sound like an ambiguous name but it's definitely one worth remembering. Their knives are midtech by definition but the quality definitely borderlines on full custom. They have a CNC machine shop in China that does a lot of the leg work but all the hand fit and finishing is done in house in their Moscow shop. They use top of the line materials made in the USA and designs from some of the most talented knife designers in Russia.

The Tegral is an Anton Malyshev design and the first fully integral knife from Custom Knife Factory. This means that the handle is crafted from a single piece of titanium with a milled out pocket where the blade seeds into. This type of design was popularized by the LionSteel SR-1 and Marfion custom Anax - giving the design a high amount of overall strength. It takes a very skilled craftsman with high-tech machinery to pull off something like this and we are happy to see Custom Knife Factory taking their manufacturing prowess to a whole new level with the Tegral flipper.

This is one awesome knife. The M390 sheepsfoot blade has a unique shape that provides strength to the tip and also has a decent amount of belly. It's got a gorgeous hand rubbed satin finish and a compact flipper tab, which is extremely easy to use. This blade absolutely flies out of the handle every time with minimal pressure thanks to the bearing opening system. The handle is hardened titanium with a nice ergonomic shape and blue accents near the pivot and on the milled titanium pocket clip. This knife just begs to be used and reminds us of a Shirogorov of sorts. You cannot go wrong with a Custom Knife Factory offering, the quality is up there with absolutely any manufacturer out there.
