Camillus Knives
Camillus ST6 Fixed Blade Knife. 9" overall. 4" Carbonitride Titanium coated AUS-8 Japanese stainless blade. Ergonomic rubber handle for superior grip. Lanyard hole. Includes Camillus ballistic Nylon sheath.

AUS-8 Steel
AUS-8 is a Japanese medium-carbon, high-chromium stainless steel. One word says it all, "balance." It offers exceptional balance between toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. Balance provides lasting value. AUS-8 ranks among the hardest, toughest, and most rust-resistant knife alloys. It's a trusted favorite that enthusiasts prefer time and again.

Carbonitride Titanium
Carbonitride Titanium is one of the hardest surface treatments containing titanium. Harder than carbide. Harder than chrome. Our proprietary process creates a permanent molecular bond with the blade surface. Will not flake, blister, chip, or peel. A complex crystalline structure forms which protects the blade surface against wear, staining, and damage.

Pros: Materials, Handle Material, Blade Material, Finish, Weight, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
Good knife
I've had and used this one for a couple years or more%2c even abused it for fun and it's held up very well. It only has some markings along the coating%2c although they haven't penetrated it. Typical duties include cutting plastic and metal straps%2fbands%2c plastic wrap%2c other warehouse related stuff as well. The abuse comes from stabbing through things like washing machines%2c seeing how far I can stab it into wood%2c chopping small trees and branches%2c and other tests of durability. As prior stated%2c edge retention is what you'd expect from AUS-8%2c which for me isn't too bad considering it sharpens quickly. It's blade heavy%2c but I prefer heavy blades.%0a%0aOverall this knife is great. Ergonomics are perfect%2c it's profiled with appropriate jimping to not only help your grip%2c but make you hold it properly for working or offensive and defensive stances. The sheath is rubbish%2c the blade will cut the threading and slowly make its way out the bottom. I sealed mine with GO2 glue and it's fine.

Sharp,and Sharp looking.
bought the ST6 for use around the house, etc. It is a good lookin knife, one of the prettiest, small-medium size youll find.Shave sharp out of box, though doesnt last long, basically like most aus8 steel.Resharpens easily, its your typical average size knife. The tip is somewhat thin, although so far no problems, but im careful not to put to much on it cause might break.Handle fits average hands good, but i doubt would fit large hands good. The blade, though listed at 4" is actually like 31/2".at most.At 4" your up on the handle.Overall its a fair deal for what you pay, though imo, probably the best Camillus knife is the Camillus Hunter 9.25" with bamboo handles, costs about the same,or a little less, but is alot better overall. The sheath isnt worth talking about. Its that bad.

Bought one today. I haven't used it yet but it appears to be a quality knife. It handles very well, has a good grip and balance, fits nicely in the hand. It's on the heavy side but I like that about it. Shaves right out of the box.
