This knife has been a long time in the making since the original model was introduced in 2007. The RAT-1 is one of those knives every knife collector should have in their collection, at least at one point. The production quality for the money is absolutely second to none and these knives are built extremely solidly so you can use them for even the toughest tasks. Now, after almost seven years, Ontario has engineered this folding knife for those who prefer an assisted opening blade. They've also improved upon the design by using real G10 for the handles instead of FRN for a better grip under extreme conditions and added a locking mechanism for safety.
