the Best sharpener ever
i have had one of these for over 30 yrs and it never fails to put an edge you can shave with on your knife. i have tried many other sharpening products but none stnds up the the Honesteel for ease, simplicity and effectiveness. if you are a deer hunter you know how tough it canbe to cut through the brisket of a big old buck. usr the wedge tip of the honesteel with a rock or other driver and it goes right thru. The 4 i bought this yr are gifts for my sons and a hunting friend. the KnifeCenter shipped the same day and were the only place i found with more than 1 in stock.

I previously owned a schrade Honesteel Sharpening Stone. I lost it about 15 years ago. When I found out they were available online I purchased two of them for me and my sone. I have utilized them thinking they would be as effective as the old one. I was wrong. The steel is not of quality material, it does not sharpenen the blade as the old steel and I am sorry I was naive enough to buy these pieces of junk.
