BBA-99 Blink
Remember how we all loved our old lockback knives that we grew up with? Today there are so many locks and locking mechanisms to choose from. The Blink represents the best of both worlds, combining the proven design of the lockback with lightning quick blade access. Thanks to S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology), the blade is propelled open once the operator has initiated the one handed opening action. Invented by Spencer Frazer, who always manages to come up with something different, the Blink is the fiendishly simple gentleman's knife with a naughty attitude. We warn you...it's addictive. Open it once and you just might find yourself opening and closing it again and again.
The Blink is well thought out. The reversible money clip can be used by both lefties and righties for low-carry or securing dollar bills and cards. We have also included a small safety that helps insure the knife won't open until you're ready. The safety can be engaged once the blade is open so that the locking bar cannot be released. So, in essence, you have two locks.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Blade Material, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Outstanding General Purpose Knife
Purchased as an EDC knife for general use. I use it trimming leather, cutting hose, and other, small workshop and farm tasks. It easily fits in my watch pocket, so it's handy, but unobtrusive for EDC. The large belly of the knife, coupled with the good thickness makes it a tough little knife, capable of a surprising number of tasks, and easy to grasp. Holds an edge well and homes or strops back to a fine edge well. Opening system is superb.
