SP153GP: C153GP Des Horn Folder
Spyderco

Knifemakers practice their craft on every continent and in every country on the planet. In Cape Town, South Africa there is Des Horn. A career dentist, Des gained international acclaim as a knifemaker in the 1960s. His debut collaboration intertwines elements of both a Spear-Point and Wharncliffe blade shape, tapering to a super-fine, flat-ground tip. Corrugated furrows machined onto the CPM-S30V blade artistically sweep from the blade to the adjoining black Micarta handle. The handle tapers in a mirrored profile to the blade to create a sleek, spike-like profile and it has a Michael Walker Liner Lock and adjustable pivot and scale screws.

It's a Beauty
Its a real nice knife. Very sharp. Aside from the micarta handle, which I like, it has a collectable look and feel to me. Nice gent's knife. The only downside is the length is likely illegal in many cities, but I'm not worried too much about that.

My ONLY problem is opening it and that is more a function of my fingers than the knife.

Nice gentleman's folder
I was very impressed by this little knife. Due to its construction it is very light, easy to open, and has a nice , classic looking blade. It almost feels art deco and somewhat antique. It appears very well made for such a lightweight design.
