Pros: Handle Feel, Weight, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Ease of Opening, Handle Material, None
Nice little blade
This is a nice little knife. It came very sharp. It opens ralatively easy with a thumb in the hole and clicking it open. This is also a very light knife. This is a blade I'll carry for awhile.

PERFECT
I CARRY A SEPARATE KNIFE FOR UTILITY (ALSO SPYDERCO) BUT HAD PURCHASED THIS KNIFE SOLELY FOR WEAPON RETENTION FOR SUPPORT SIDE CARRY. I HAD ALWAYS LIKED THE REVERSE "S" BLADE DESIGN OF THE CIVILIAN AND MATRIARCH BUT FOUND THAT I COULD NOT DRAW THOSE SIZED KNIVES AND DEPLOY THE BLADE WITHOUT REPOSITIONING THE KNIFE IN MY HAND SO WHEN I FOUND THIS GEM I HAD TO GET IT. THE LIL' MATRIARCH IS DELICA SIZED AND WORKS PERFECTLY. VERY GOOD FIT AND FINISH AND, OF COURSE, SUPER SHARP OUT OF THE BOX. FROM WHAT I HAVE READ IT'S SUPPOSEDLY OK FOR GENERAL UTILITY USE BUT I COULDN'T COMMENT ON THAT AS I THATS NOT WHAT I CARRY IT FOR. DID NOT COME WITH THE CIVILIAN "WARNING TAG" IF YOU'RE WONDERING. WILL LIKELY BUY AS LEAST ONE MORE, MAYBE TWO, JUST IN CASE. ALSO, PROMPT SHIPPING FROM KNIFECENTER AS ALWAYS.

Great Ripper
Not much of an EDC style blade. I purchased this knife as a small personal defense piece to be utilized in the old traditional "cut and run" senario. I carry it addition to other more traditional EDC knives. It's a very nasty slasher to be sure. Very light, strong lockup, and as usual with Spyderco, beautifully crafted. It's a winner!
