BC789: Ninja II Boot Knife
Bear & Son Cutlery
This compact boot knife from Bear has been completely redesigned with strength and durability in mind. The double edge 3-1/4" taper ground, spear point blade is made from 1095 carbon steel, which is superb for fixed blade knives, and powder coated for added corrosion resistance. The nicely contoured handle is made from textured G10 and are attached with torx screws so they can be removed for a much slimmer profile. The Kydex boot sheath features a clip on the back to attach to your boot and can also be worn around the neck. Great small backup design and best of all, made in the USA.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for it's extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel, most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Kydex Sheath
Kydex Sheath
Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.

A Hidden Gem
For many months, I have been scouring the internet for a small, fixed blade, USA made knife for a decent price. This knife has exceeded my expectations. The sheath is sturdy and holds the knife very firmly. The G-10 handle sticks to my large hands like glue but feels comfortable at the same time. The 1095 steel blade looks and feels like it could take a good beating and the black finish manages to not look cheesy. (I've owned a few boot knives with the black finish on them and they almost always look like they've been spray painted on.) I also received this knife just two days after ordering it with the standard shipping! My only complaint with this knife, and it is a very minor one, is that the blade is a little dull out of the box. Overall, I'm absolutely thrilled with this purchase.
