Exactly What I Needed, Perfect Price!
I have a lot of high-end kitchen knives, but needed a knock-about knife for cutting frozen meats and other tasks for which I didn't wand to risk my expensive knives. Many years ago I had purchased a cheap Ginsu knife from a TV ad, but lost it in a move, and I needed a replacement. The Maxam was exactly what I was looking for, and the price was unbelievable. I use this knife regularly and it is everything I require. I am very happy with not only the knife, but with my Knife Center shopping experience. Thanks!

Not What I Had Hoped
I obviously knew that this was not an expensive product, still I had hope that it would work to cut chum blocks (frozen blocks of ground up fish, used to attract other fish that you wish to catch) in half. Not much that I had tried so far worked and this remains unchanged. The blocks are two inches or so thick and getting more than a half inch into the block with this knife is a challenge. It might be fine for frozen food that 'you' intend to eat, having used it on bait, I will not be likely to try mine that way. Bruce

This knife does not work well.
When I tried to cut semi-thawed chicken, the knife was ineffective. It seems to be too thin and too flexible for frozen food.
