EMT knife
I use these knife with my work as an emt and as an everyday carry it really function as an EMT knife, its sharp and the size of the blade is of just about right for me. The weight is a little heavier than most knife that if about the same blade length and cutting edge as the handle is a little bigger than most with the same blade length, with that in mind it is a good glass breaker as one of its function is. Also its handle it a little bigger and so you will have a bigger area to hold when breaking windows plus it has a curvature near the glassbreaker tip to prevent your hand from sliding all the way through those broken glasses. It has a seatbelt cutter with explains why the hangle becomes a little protruded on the rear part. It comes on yellow color and black. Those are some of the great points when i use it for work as a civilian emt. I chose black as i also worked as a tactical EMT for sometime. For everyday carry though you may want to shy a way from these as this knife is so thick when you clip it in your pocket it will render your pocket almost useless as it occupies the space of the entrance of the pockets. It also sits high and so part of handle sticks out and if its an everyday carry you will attract attention everyday, one of the major drawback is the glassbreaker is in the way and it scrapped my hands morethan a few times just when im trying to get my keys, so what i do is that i remove my knife from the pocket then get my keys, Also the built of the clip is a little questionable in my opinion, it never when jumping out of my pocket but if i try springing the clip it feels weak. Maybe i just compared it to my zero tolerance 350's clip thats why i felt so different which in my opinion the clip is so strong you wont worry that your knife will jump off. Also i dont like the blade finish as its coated with some paint which feels more like its not part of the metal, (i know its not) but other knives seem to coat it really well and feels its the color of the metal used, its like you can chip it other than you can scratch it,atleast thats how i felt it. Also it has an oily feel on the blade which has a glassy feel on it. I like my knife with the touch of like there are microscopic sand coating on it. Well, i guess thats it, the conclusion is that these knife isnt very versatile or as an all around knife, but will be benificial for certain kind of jobs or occupation. Its like a military boot, not that great for casual attire,;)
