BM62: 62 Bali-Song, Stainless Steel Handles with T-Latch
Benchmade Knives
The best is born of history and tradition or as is the case with the Benchmade 62 Bali-Song, reborn. For us, the best began with the Bali-Song, the butterfly knife awesome in its simplicity, the ultimate example of form following function. And now we retrace those steps with the Model 62 with its numerous appreciable improvements. For starters, the Wee-hawk style blade is secured to the handles with screw-head pivot-pins, making the possibility of changing out blades a reality, and the pins are heat-treated and larger than previous ones. The handle latch uses a torx-head pivot-pin attachment as well, so it may be removed if preferred. Another nice feature is the skeletonized cast stainless steel handles which are very tough and weighted for better balance. The handles feature a T-latch lock with more pronounced contour for improved grip. As for the blade itself, we've extended the false edge farther back up the blade as was done on the traditional Wee-hawk designs. So if you're already a Bali-Song fan from way back, you'll definitely be pleased with the Model 62. Or if you're just looking for the ultimate in basic form and simple function-this is it.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Weight, Sheath, Handle Feel, Blade Material
Cons: None
This knife is as slick as it gets. These knives are built to last more then a lifetime. The material is solid and will not break apart. With this Bali-song I would change Nothing. The style is classic, the blade is sharp as hell, and the handling is perfect. It is a little tight out the package, but once you flip it for while it gets to the perfect play amount. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in owning for flipping fun or collecting. *this note is for the people who are debating on this knife because of the weight... It is a little heavier than other Bali-songs however it's funny to hear people bitch about how this knife is not a flipper. It's actually a great flipper if you can man the fuck up and actually possess the muscle strength of a 15yr old. Really, my 15yr old nephew (phenomenal flipping skills) can flip everything on this knife, compared to a 3.5 oz knife, with the same speed and all! The flipper haters who hate on this knife because of the weight, they really just need to practice on it more. People start off on such featherweight Bali-songs, that when they try a solid knife, like this one, they start to get their bitch on and blame the knife because their soft fairy velvet cock stroking hands can't handle the weight...practice gentleman...practice. So if you have the cash for this knife, you will not be disappointed *drops mic* Falls 20 feet *glorious thud*

Tank of a knife
The benchmade 62 is a very well made balisong, built like a tank and came decently sharp. Imo it's a bit heavy for any serious flipping but a awesome heavy duty edc that should last a few lifetimes. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there is a bit more handle play then I would like even after tighting the pivots and the price is a bit high.
