BM890BK: Torrent™ - Steigerwalt Design
Benchmade

This Ken Steigerwalt design makes for a perfect EDC (everyday carry).
This is a nice folder. Contoured G10 handles and a polished, deep pocket clip and a textured handle spacer looking sort of like file work make this a stylish item. It has a simplicity to it that is appealing. It is full sized.

Great EDC
This is a nice folder. Contoured G10 handles an a polished, deep pocket clip and a textured handle spacer looking sort of like file work make this a stylish item. It has a simplicity to it that is appealing. It is full sized and the weight is significant compared to some others, but these things are a matter of taste.

Great Knife
Great things about this knife: It came Extremely sharp and ready to use (you wont even know you cut yourself 'til you see the blood sharp...). I loved the shape of the blade and handle(not too much arch). Lightning quick assist open provokes some envious looks from my friends. Sturdy blade that will be adequate for everyday use. Things that could be a little better: the locking mechanism could be a little sturdier(thicker). It would be nice if there was a locking mechanism that could keep the blade from deploying accidentally. Granted, you have to move the blade about 30 degrees before the assist kicks in, but it would be nice if you could lock it shut. Overall impression: I am extremely impressed by the quality and design of this knife. I am looking forward to using it for years to come.

I'll admit the tanto blade is my personal favorite. I feel like I know Mel pardue. This knife is one I pulled to stop a situation. Incredible speeed, secure handle, second best lock on the market. SOG knives are like unreal. You can't put a price on life. In my field if you hear it open......
