Pros: Blade Material, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Weight, Handle Material, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Feel, Lock Ease of Use, None
This knife is just awesome to look at and play with. PROS: -MADE IN THE USA -G10 handles (however some sort of a gloss on top make it slightly slippery) -Razor Sharp -Love blade shape sorta of a drop point-tanto -Super easy opening -Great blade steel 154CM and coating -Deep pocket clip (but only right tip down) not a problem for me -Perfect handle to blade weight ratio -One of the best under $100 assisted opening CONS: -G10 handles have some sort of a shinny/slippery coating which looses the grip value of the G10 in my opinion but still great. -Closing the blade is a little difficult (when you are half-way). However, that is because of the spring Blitz Nitrous design. -Liner Lock is very small in width and bends a little when you are pressing it to close. Not sure about the durability of this specific liner lock long term. OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: I would still buy this knife knowing what I know now. If it wasn't for the few cons I would have definitely given it a 5 star. Definitely worth it imo.

The HK Blitz Nitrous Assisted knife is an excellent choice for EDC.
One of the best assisted opening knives you can buy, maybe the best assisted opening knife for under $100.

My all time favorite.
I have carried this knife every day for many years and I love it. It is my all time favorite everyday carry knife. My criteria for a carry knife is simple. The blade has to be of a useful length. It should be possible to open and close easily with one hand. If I have to set it down while using it until I get two hands free to close it I'm going to loose it for sure. And I prefer something slim and light so it doesn't weight down my pocket. It is hard to put you hand in your pocket when it is full of some macho combat folder and their weight will make you walk funny. This knife is slim and light and I like the tip down carry. The assisted opener action is smooth and the frame lock easy to use. I love the shape of the plain satin blade. While it is a bit flexy due to it's light weight construction I don't use it to pry open packing crates or force open doors. For what I want in a carry knife, this is it. I liked it so much I bought another as a spare in case they stop making it. I have bought a lot of other knives over the years that I though might challenge this one for everyday carry duty and none have dethroned it.
