BO02BA572: Timberwolf Wood
Boker

This knife shows without a doubt the handwriting of knife smithing master Armitz Stuetz, from Steierer Eisen from Austria and reflects his sense for a clear line and functionality. The field-proven blade shapes are made of 440-C high performance stainless steel and have a fine satin finish. Especially attractive and demanding while manufacturing is the massive stainless steel handguard in combination with the black fibre spacer. For hunting, outdoor use or for the knife enthusiast who is looking for something special. Includes a premium leather sheath. It has a precisely flat ground blade for best cutting performances. The handle is made of sturdy Cocobolo wood which fits perfectly to the stainless steel handguard. Blade length: 5 1/4". Overall length: 9 1/2". Weight: 6.8 oz. Made in Argentina.

Cons: None
A cracking knife
Such a beautiful knife, I am reluctant to mess it up! I carry it when I go walking/climbing in the mountains, I feel reassured that if I need a sharp blade it will be more than adequate. I find I am drawn to the Boker brand as they seem to have a knife for all occasions, ooze quality and definitely look the part.

Firm and reliable product
Excellent value for money. Can't judge on its utility in hunting but as a all-purpose camping knife it's excellent. Proper size and weight, and perfect grip. Bought one for myself, and probably will by next for my son. Beautiful sheath.

Cons: Overall Quality
Not great craftsmanship
As soon as I placed my hand on the handle I could feel my skin catch on the metal where the handle meets the metal guard. The wood is not flush up against the handle and my hand keeps rubbing on the metal. Also, the handle is very smooth. I can imagine that if you started to do some heavy cutting/stripping with the knife you would have to grip tight due to the smooth handle and then would irritate or scrap your hand on the metal part of the hilt. Not good.
