Pros: Blade Material, Materials, Handle Material, Weight, Finish, Overall Quality, None
Solid & handy fixed blade bargain
First thing to keep in mind is that this is a knife made by a quality manufacturer (Boker) at an entry level price point (Magnum series). For around $20 you get a serious little knife made with good (not the best) steel that's tough, sharp, well enough made and easy to carry. Blade shape is excellent. Handle is thick & grippy, made of 3 built up stainless plates & textured micarta. A bit short for larger hands but convenient to carry. Complaints? The sheath holds promise but I had to file the grooves in the knife handle a little bit to make it "snap" in tighter. Blade needed a good honing but most do, anyway. All told, it feels like a much more expensive knife and promises to see much use even if I won't be dropping behind enemy lines with this one.
