This unique competition knife is a joint design effort between James Crowell and Reggie Barker, the only two men to have won an American Bladesmith Society (ABS) World Cutting Championship. Cons: None
Great Camp Knife - Bowie
This blade is well balanced ... not blade heavy like my CS Trailmaster. To me this doesn't effect the chopping ability in fact, to me, it is less fatiguing. Length is great for batoning wood. Love the distal tapper on the full tag. I have small hand and the squared scale a little large for my hand but not where it impedes functionally. The innovative forward lanyard work great. The steel is 1085 ... I rather have 1095 but the softer steel had advantages especial since 1095 blade have been know to break while batoning in cold weather. This blade is properly radius at tang so that should not be a problem. The blade shape closest to the original shape of Bowie's original blade. Overall for the price this gave me everything I was looking in functional and good looking bowie/camp knife

Pros: Finish, Handle Material, Weight, Blade Material, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Sheath/Scabbard
Good desgin with so so grinding
Blade design is excellent, a sturdy knife with good satin finishing. The knife don't come quite shaving sharp, but still cut through paper with no problem. The biggest problem of the knife is the consistency. I bought two same knife with quite different balance and edge geometry. The thickness of the tip and tang is noticeable different. The whole blade is slightly bend to the left, not impressive! cos I don't see this problem for other factory knives. Bending of the blade affect sharpening. Dislike!

A Great Bowie
This is an extremely sharp and stout knife. I have had one for some time, and it and the sheath could not be better.
