Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
After owning the Lux Pro for an extended time and using same as EDC, I want to change my original Review back in 2012. I have found this knife to be a delight to carry, clipped to the rear pocket (the best place to get to it) and hardly noticeable as far as weight, shape, or a visible evidence that you are carrying it, at the same time not “concealing” it. I since have purchased two other versions of the Buck 016 Lux Pro. Thanks, Buck!

A nice gentleman folder, but not the best
As the description suggests, this little knife is an elegant and futuristic looking gentleman's folder that has both some good and bad points. The good points are primarily its sleek looks, excellent steel and handle material, and extremely smooth opening (by far the best I've ever owned. The cons are that the titanium coating picks up fingerprints like no tomorrow. The frame lock is not very strong overall, the sections where the frame bends in is extremely thin despite being fairly wide. It definitely won't stand up to abuse. The blade is also plagued by Buck's infamous blade centering issues, so the pivot screw had be to tweaked to even prevent it from rubbing the frame.

Buck 016 Lux Pro
Knife is used for personal carry. Looks are good, but carbon fiber is rather unimpressive visually. Good balance and feel, is light weight in the pocket. Lock up of the liner lock is poor and gives the impression of weakness in that area, and does not give you that "snap" that usually indicates a secure lock up.
