Description
BU0845CMS: Buck Vantage Force Pro, A-TACS Camo
Buck Knives

The Vantages were developed as innovative and lightweight clip carry knives with a quick one-hand opening using a blade flipper. The stainless steel frame provides superior strength and reliability, making this a tactical solution for those military and public servants who put themselves in harms way. With the success of Buck's everyday carry Vantages, the logical next step was to develop a line for tactical needs. A reliable folder with quick deployment allows professionals to confidently handle any situation.

The Vantage Force boasts the latest in tactical design and innovation. An ultra-fast and smooth opening with the flipper works so quickly, you would think it's an assisted opener. Using an oversized liner lock for and stainless steel frame, they provide ultimate strength and durability. When faced with a critical situation, the Vantage Force is prepared to protect in a moments notice. With a variety of non-reflective handle materials and blade steels, there is an option for every professional.

A-TACS was developed by Digtal Concealment Systems, (DCS) to answer the call for better and more effective camouflage system integration for duty personnel in any service branch from military to law enforcement. A-TACS is designed as a universal pattern for a wide range of operational environments with additional supporting color and design variants to follow.

Many of the modern digital camouflage patterns currently in use by the tactical community have flaws. The square pixels used to create the distortion effect do not replicate the shapes, forms and shadows of the environment they are deployed in-especially when viewed through optics. The ninety-degree angles and limited use of natural colors can in many cases, make detection easier.

Pros: Blade Material, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Pretty, that's where it ends!
I own three in the buck Vantage line, two of which are force pro's. I bought this knife expcting it to be like my other Bucks. Aesthetically pleasing, tight construction, and razor sharp are my three benchmarks a buck knife must meet. I opened the box and ,wow, so pretty it takes your breath away. Then I opened the knife. Too much blade play, even when tightened, and as dull as c-span. What the heck, Buck? Close inspection reveals a lot of corners were cut in production of this knife. Recommended only for the Buck collector. NOT FOR EDC!

Pros: Lock Type, Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: Pocket Clip, None
Great knife
EDC knife. I bought 3 of them. They are made in American with good steel that came sharp and holds a edge well. This was the best value in the type of knife that I was looking for. I would like to have the option to carry tip up or tip down with the clip. I knew that this knife was made to carry tip down when I bought it that is why I still gave it 5 stars
