Bought for use with Ka-Bar BK16
For the price, this is the best sheath ever! It was mentioned on so many websites, I had to try it and now that I have it, I see why everyone talked about it so much. The one thing is, it is made for a different knife, so the BK can slip out of it (not incredibly easily though) and in doing so, can cut one side of the leather strap. I bought some kydex to put on the inside of the straps and tightened up the fit of the straps as well and now I don't worry about it and the knife and sheath look and feel great.

Great fit BK16
This is a great sheath for the money it is thick strong and durable. The "only" thing I have as a Con for the BK16 fit (remember this sheath is made for the Ergo Hunter ) is that the keeper strap that holds the knife is sized for a larger handle so the BK16 can be pulled out or fall out in a tumble. It's a loose fit. What I did was to put additional leather strips on the inner portion of the strap affixed with rubber cement It is now a "tight" fit. When I have the chance I am going to have it sewn into place. If you have this knife a BK16 jump at this sheath for the price, a shoemaker can fix it for $5.00.

Great Sheath for the BK16
I'm using the sheath for my Beker BK16, the knife came with a sheath that is pretty non functional for every day carry unless your a paratrooper. This sheath allows me to carry the knife and either a slim sharpening stone a secondary knife ( Becker Ramora) or a Firesteel in the small pocket. Note: for the BK16 the strap is a "loose fit" the knife "can" be pulled out. I am going to modify the fit but just beware before buying. Other wise I like this sheath and it's a great fit.
