Case Knives

You've been talking, and Case hase been listening. That's why they're introducing this family of carbon steel knives. The customers told them they were looking for more options in the traditional chrome vanadium blade steel, so now they're offering them in various patterns, including the Sway Back Jack and Folding Hunter. The rich nut-brown bone handle is one of the most popular colors in Case history.

My Favorite Sodbuster
Have always liked Sodbusters and especially small (i.e. Jr) Sodbusters as an EDC knife. Design is simple, capable, versatile, and tough (and small /Jr easy to carry). Particularly like CV (in Case's case) for ease of sharpening and ability to take and hold a razor edge (love my S-30V Sebenza and D2 Queen Country Cousin but struggle to get them back to factory sharpness once well-used). Now, take the great Sodbuster Jr. CV design and add the aesthetic and tactile beauty of a jigged bone handle, in this instance Chestnut Bone, one of Case's very best. Lovely! And BTW, fit and finish on mine rivals other Case Chestnut Bone knives I own (Swayback Jack and Medium Stockman). A useful workhorse, pocket gem, and fondling knife all in one? Hell, I'm in. Costs a little more than the delrin ones, but totally worth it!

Case CV Sodbuster
Great lightweight pocket knife, mine came very sharp and carbon steel holds a great edge. Case did a great job with this one, perfect size work knife not to wide on the handle just right.
