Pros: Finish, Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard, Weight, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness, Weight, Materials
It needed some work.
I have one of these and I have to admit that it does tale some work... I started with a file and finished with a 200 grit diamond type bench stone and never really was able to get an edge on the curved section with the stuff I presently have to work with... There is an edge where the blade makes contact when chopping and it is great for that...If you don't mind spending some time spending some time completing the job started you will find this Kukri to be an excellent tool. It will out chop a machete and can be used as a draw knife for removing bark and shaping post oak saplings for shelter poles, makeshift spears and walking staffs.
