Terminology

AUS-8 Steel
AUS-8 is a Japanese medium-carbon, high-chromium stainless steel. One word says it all, "balance." It offers exceptional balance between toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. Balance provides lasting value. AUS-8 ranks among the hardest, toughest, and most rust-resistant knife alloys. It's a trusted favorite that enthusiasts prefer time and again.

Carbonitride Titanium
Carbonitride Titanium is one of the hardest surface treatments containing titanium. Harder than carbide. Harder than chrome. Our proprietary process creates a permanent molecular bond with the blade surface. Will not flake, blister, chip, or peel. A complex crystalline structure forms which protects the blade surface against wear, staining, and damage.
Nylon Sheath

Micarta Handles

Pros: Finish, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Materials
Cons: None
Looks better in the picture
Just recieved my knofe today and was vvery happy with the blade and style (design) of the knife. However the handle is far to small and way too short. Beef up and extend the handle and the nknife will be a great seller. As for now it makes a nice utility product, but for hunting it lacks credit.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
Small , yet useful .
This will make a very handy utility knife for around the house uses. The blade was very sharp and again it will be a good all around utility knife . The handle ,while nice could stand to be thicker to give the user a better grip ,especially true for people with big hands .

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, None
Cons: Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard, Weight
Light weight blade
I bought this blade to see what the new Camillus Co. is putting out in this price range. The blade is light but very sharp. The handle is a little too small for my large hands. Overall, it's an okay lightweight utility knife for around the house but lacks the seriousness of a good hunting or camping knife.
