Pros: Materials, Sheath/Scabbard, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality
very poor blade geometry
I ordered five of these knives, one for myself and four for gifts. Do not buy this knife. I am a knifemaker and I work with 1095 steel. The 1095 is the main reason I bought these knives. It take more than steel to make a knife you also have shape the blade so that it will take and hold an edge. This knife has the geometry that only very inexperienced knifemakers produce. All five knives came to me with a poor edge. I tried to lay the edges back some with my Edge Pro sharpening machine. I was able to get the edge somewhere close to sharp. You will never get this knife really sharp unless you just plain start over and completely regrind the whole blade. The blade is not worth that kind of effort. Your best bet is to pass up all these Condor knives. You don't need to make the mistake that I did. For $20 you get a $1 knife. Do not buy this knife.
