Pros: Overall Quality, Durability, Carry Position
This sheath is a big winner
While I own quite a few Condor knives I don't actually own their Kukri. I'm sure I will at some point, but I currently I don't own one.The reason I'm buying their fine kukri sheaths is that they are fantastic, high quality alternatives to the behemoth wood and water buffalo monstrosities that traditional Nepalese and Indian sheaths typically come with.I'm sure it's ignorance on my part, but for the life of me I can't figure out how people can use those giant wood/leather sheaths in the field. Even in a climate controlled environment, the wood frequently warps in these traditional sheaths to the point it can be hard to remove the knife from the scabbard.A nice, lightweight leather sheath is a much more functional and durable alternative.Unless you can afford to create or buy Kydex sheaths for all your kukri's, this Condor sheath is a great choice.
