Canadian knifemaker Brian Tighe is a true Renaissance Man, with an array of professional skills including tool and die making, metallurgy, engraving and photography. In his St. Catharines, Ontario, workshop, he produces a wide array of custom folders, all with those signature touches that immediately make them stand out as Brian Tighe knives.
At first glance, the knife seems like a design exercise until you grasp it and understand that the concave cut scales are craftily shaped to enhance grip, aggressive with contours in just the right places. Brian’s blade design is unique too, with its asymmetrical spine facets, high-hollow grind and deep belly with recurve.

Patented* OutBurst™ assisted opening mechanism, which instantly springs the blade fully open after you have opened the blade 30 degrees.
Dual ramped thumb studs allow the My Tighe to be quickly opened with either hand.
Feature a removable black Teflon-plated pocket/gear clip.

It’s hard to ignore any Brian Tighe design, especially these highly personal work knives. Carry one and you will certainly start a conversation among knife fanciers everywhere.

Frame Lock
Frame Lock
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Steel Handles
Steel Handles
Stainless Steel knife handles provide strength and durability while using chromium oxide to create a rust-resistant barrier.

Cool Design
The CRKT My Tighe 3.6" Satin Combo Edge is an awesome design. It fits the hand well, has a rock-solid feel and looks way cool. (Friends are impressed by the design.) The blade is as sharp as all get out and opens quickly, too. Excellent knife, would highly recommend.

Beast
Great ergonomics and very sharp OTB. The Veff serrations look wicked and cut through cardboard like butter. Wish they'd make a fully serrated version :) Only knock is the pocket clip doesn't reverse to tip-up. Still highly recommended as an EDC+ size blade.

Very impressive
Very sharp OTB and snaps open with authority. Super smooth opening, great ergonomics. Only complaint is that I can't switch the pocket clip to tip-up. Fantastic value for under $50.
