Beast Mode!
This is a BIG folder! A "Combat" folder. I have had mine for nearly 13 years now and I still have in in my EDC rotation. Solid build with quality materials. Fits a gloved hand well too! I've used mine for everything from camping to self defense. And now priced under a twenty dollar bill? It will make you feel like you stole this knife from CRKT! I'd pay more for it! You won't be sorry for buying this blade!!!

Beef with class!
For now I'm just having a ball flicking this piece of workmanship and listening for the satisfying thwock of the blade lock-up. This knife is large and at 7.1 oz one could consider it heavy, but when held the balance is so good, the ergos so comfy, the weight is absorbed into insignificance. What's left is the pleasure of a substantial feel with a capable blade that glides into place with authority. No play in this blade in any direction. The liner lock built from the strong SS liners is solid by itself, but is backed by the LAWKS lock block, which makes it impossible for the lock to be disengaged accidentally or by pressure, until the LAWKS system is moved away again. I didn't know how I would feel about an extra lock or safety. Most of them are never used and largely ignored by me. But I find myself engaging the LAWKS system and training to take it off before attempting close the knife. When engaged the Kasper is essentially transformed into a wicked fixed blade that can be hard used with confidence. The only thing I would change is the smooth texture of the Zytel scales. And I may do just that by making and adding a set of Micarta scales. Other than that, this folder has become my new favorite. I would recommend to anyone who wants a nicely executed larger folder. If you like a small folder, this is not for you.
