Very nice knife
Knife is surprisingly light weight, but seems to be very strong. Blade is sharp and easy to manipulate. Overall, a very nice piece at a good price. Can be a little hard to open. It will probably loosen up with use.

Good EDC
I have been looking at the Ripple for some time and seeing this one on offer i decided to go for it. My first impression was the packaging from CRKT while good for store security is badly designed for the customer. When you open the pack which I cut open with another knife, as I cut along where the edge is I had to be very careful not to cut myself on the open blade. Then removing the knife, again with an open blade! from the rest of the pack is quite difficult followed by having to find a tiny Phillips screw driver. Just put the thing in box! Now the knife! I can't fault the knife in any way, it flips open really well and the lock works perfectly, the blade shredded an envelope I had on the table into confetti. The sharpness for out of the box combined with the slim blade makes the Ripple almost good enough to use as a kitchen knife. The ally scales I think look fantastic and provide a good grip, I would have liked the option to change the clip to the other side as I am left handed but that is not a big problem as by now I am used to using right handed knives. The jimping, polish and finishing on the back of the blade show attention to detail and look great. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a good general purpose EDC knife and give thanks to Knife Centre for the excellent price and service. A lot of knife considering its slim looks and light weight!
