CRKSEB21S: Small Sebenza 21
Chris Reeve Knives

Chris Reeve Knives describes this item as follows:

The Sebenza is 21 years old!

Who would have thought back in 1988 that Chris's titanium handle folder would become a legend in the industry! Constant attention to design details and an unwavering commitment to quality in every aspect of the knife has created the Sebenza as a hallmark of excellence. To mark this amazing milestone, we are planning to make some changes to the lineup of Sebenzas.

We are going to stop making almost all Regular profile Sebenzas. The profile on the Classic will change slightly and this version will be known as Sebenza 21.

The design change on Sebenza 21 gives a more pronounced chamfer on the pivot edge of the handle allowing the knife to be inserted more easily into a pocket or sheath. The engraving of "Classic MM" on the back of the Classic Sebenza will be eliminated, making differentiation of the two models easy! The blade shape remains the same.

Sebenza, perfect blend of form and function
I've wanted one of these knives for 20 years, I finally got one. This is an EDC knife that will get used for all my cutting chores, the fit and finish on this knife can only be described as precise, the tolerances are so tight this knife opens and closes like a Swiss watch, the blade to handle ratio is almost one to one you couldn't possibly fit a bigger blade into this handle. It came razor sharp outta the box, this will always be in my pocket, this will be my go-to knife from here on out, considerin's I have over 300+ knives, I think that says alot.

Hopefully the last knife I ever buy!
I first heard of Chris Reeve about a year before buying this knife. Everything about the Sebenza seems to reflect the reviews I read online. It took me about 6 months to save, and a couple months to arrive after I ordered it - but it is very much worth the wait. I've been using this knife for EDC, even opening boxes(the audacity!) and I like the feeling of overkill. What will really count is if I'm still using it in 5-15-25 years. So far, so good though.

Handled one of these bad boys at a friends' house. Fantastic construction, awesome materials, beautiful overall knife. I can see where it got its reputation as the best folding knife "ever". That being said, there are plenty of production knives out there that do the exact same thing as these sebenzas for less than half the price. No way in the world I would spent 350 dollars on an EDC blade that could possibly be lost. For a very good quality EDC at a reasonable price, see Spyderco.
