CRM2114SF: M21-14SF - Combo Edge - Designed by Kit Carson
Our aluminum InterFrame build SF folders share a unique design offering a combination of Carson Series features requested by military procurement specialists. The deep-bellied spear point blades were specified because they offer maximum strength. The open build allows two Carson Flippers to be incorporated, resulting in a true hilt— very rare in folding knives.

M21™-14SF Aluminum. Our production aluminum frame SF is based on Kit Carson's custom designs, with contoured handles of black, hard anodized 6061 T6 aluminum, with a perimeter radius. Stainless steel locking liners with friction grooves give positive locking. Blade steel is AUS 8 stainless with a Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edge.

Blade, frame and hardware are non-reflective tactical black. The blade receives a black titanium nitride coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Kit's trademark dual checkered thumb studs are standard. One-hand opening and closing is quick and smooth.

It also features our exclusive patented (1) AutoLAWKS™ automatic safety, which turns the folder into a virtual fixed blade automatically.

All knives in this series are equipped with clip options that allow four-position carry on belts or webbing. Caution: These knives are not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry. They are special knives, designed by the military for special forces use.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
Very sharp, very cool. I actually bought both of them, the one with the G10 handles and this one. I am a prepper and one is none, so both of them are mine now. Aluminium handles are smooth and have a quality feel to them. however ,with sweaty palms they might get slippery. But the blade is razorsharp and of top quality, I highly recommend this knife. by the way:The trick you see on how to open the knife works really cool.

Supercar on poor tires.
I own several M16/M21 knives and this was probably the most expensive of them all. It shares with his large and small brothers many of the winning features of this fortunate series, except, alas, one, which turned out to be pretty crucial for me: the handle quality. The handle is made of solid aluminium but, maybe due to the particular texturing they chose to apply to it, it feels quite slippery, with a strange "soapy" feeling to it. It is a very personal thing, probably... but it does spoil the overall impression of the knife for me. The blade did not come super sharp to me: it was ok but I expected more, since I have cheaper knives that are much sharper. It is a large folder so it really would have needed a "grippier" handle: as it is, although a winner in almost every other department, it does feel a bit unsafe to use.

Great Knife!
Awesome folder, kept its edge for a decent amount of time, fairly easy to resharpen, my go to EDC knife now, replaced a Kershaw. High quality construction, handle is ok, not sure if I should have gone with G10, this plain stuff works ok.
