Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
The original locking mechanism. It can be found mid spine or at the bottom of the handle, and it provides tight lockup that will wear well.
Wood Handles
Wood Handles
Provides a traditional, natural look and feel to a modern tool. Wood absorbs shock well and is popular in axe handles.

Cons: Handle Material, None
EKA Swede 88
Having owned and used this knife for the last six or seven years I can testify to its quality. It's a very light knife and the blade is quite thin. The edge has a nice curve to it and ends in an acute point. Mine came shaving sharp. It's an excellent small blade suitable for light work and when you really need something small and sharp. The wood handle is also quite comfortable. The only downside is the handle. Being of dense wood it's still susceptible to moisture and if used in wet conditions the handle will swell, making it harder to open/close. Remember to give it a nice coat of oil now and then. Caution: The blade is very sharp - so watch your fingers.
