Description
FM200001: Alfa Benetti Provender Flint Fixed Blade
Fremont Knives

The Provender Flint incorporates a deep finger choil and nicely grooved Micarta scales to provide a sure grip. Micarta will not warp, melt, freeze or become brittle under any conditions and along with the Kydex sheath, this model will withstand the rigors of North American big game hunting. Pros: Overall Quality, Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard
Cons: Handle Material, Blade Material, None
Great knife for the price
A great knife for under $20. Out of the box the scales were extremely uncomfortable and came to sharp points on the edges but after some quick work with a file and some sandpaper it became one of my favorite knives to hold. The difference was night and day. The steel is nothing special but the kydex sheath really sealed the deal for me. When people guess the price they're usually two to three times over, it's awesome lol. It deserves 5 stars mainly because of the price but if I bought it at suggested retail value I'd give it a 3, a 4 if the scales were smoother. I think they would make great gifts.

An Excellent Buy
I seldom do review on my purchases but this knife is exceptionally good that I need to tell others. For the price paid, it is a steal. The knife is sharp and rugged, just excellent for bush crafting or skinning big games. Perhaps some may find it too hefty but the heavy weight means a real heavy duty knife. No risk purchase due to the low price.
