FT000204: Classic 2/0
The Morakniv Classic has been developed by Mora of Sweden for over a century, and has been utilized by generations of carpenters and wood carvers. The tradition can be explained by the knives – with their classic red wooden handle – being pleasant to work with and having just the right feel. A reliable knife that has a given place among the tools of a handcrafter. Also used to a great extent by carpenters. Has a blade of carbon steel and a handle of red ochre birch. Comes with a plastic belt sheath.
Carbon Steel Blade:
  • Knife blades of high carbon steel can be hardened to HRC 59-60 giving best possible sharpness to lowest price. Knives made from above mentioned steel grades will after some use achieve a dullish grey finish. However, this will not negatively affect the quality of the blade. On the contrary it will somewhat improve the resistance to corrosion.
  • Blade Length: 2.91" (74 mm)
  • Blade Steel: High Carbon Steel, 59-60HRC
  • Blade Thickness: 2.5 mm
  • Overall Length: 6.70" (170 mm)
  • Handle Material: Birch Wood
  • Weight: 1.7 oz. (48.2 g)
  • Made in Sweden

Great Carving Knife!
The 2/0, with a 3" blade, is the smaller version of the standard Mora. I use it for wood carving. In that application, it excels. The blade is what you expect from Mora: razor sharp and well heat treated. The oval handle is not for stabbing; it's a woodworker's design, allowing for varied grips as you execute different cuts. Some people find the handle too small, but I have large hands and find the knife very easy to work with. The sheath is very basic plastic, but it gets the job done. Overall, the Mora 2/0 is a very compact, lightweight package that makes a great utility/woodcarving knife.

Steak knife
I use this as a steak knife, its great! I cant stand cheap, toothy knives sawing my steaks. So i thought what the hell, buy a bunch of cheap Moras. I love them. Not too big and my guests love them, haha.
