FT11673: Craftline HighQ Electrician
Morakniv, formerly Frost of Sweden, produces great knives at very reasonable prices. The Morakniv Craftline HighQ Electrician is no exception. A fairly simple fixed wharncliffe carbon steel blade with a double-molded ergonomic rubber handle which provides excellent traction. Used by professionals within the construction and industrial sectors, perfect for cable scaling. Comes with a molded plastic belt twin-sheath, which gives you the possibility to connect your favorites together.
Carbon Steel Blade:
  • Knife blades of high carbon steel can be hardened to HRC 59-60 giving best possible sharpness to lowest price. Knives made from above mentioned steel grades will after some use achieve a dullish grey finish. However, this will not negatively affect the quality of the blade. On the contrary it will somewhat improve the resistance to corrosion.
  • Blade Length: 1.7" (43 mm)
  • Blade Steel: High Carbon Steel, 59-60HRC
  • Blade Thickness: 2 mm
  • Overall Length: 6.3" (160 mm)
  • Handle Material: Rubber
  • Weight: 3.3 oz. (94 g)
  • Made in Sweden

Excellent Toll
I use this in the power line business and it is just a great overall tool! Handle fits hand well, color stands out in the brush when dropped out of the bucket! Sheath is strong and secure!

Handy EDC for the working man.
As a companion to a normal size mora, these short blades are ideal for stripping cables, opening boxes without risking hurting the contents, deburring plastic/aluminum parts and so on. Handle is easy to clean and gives a good grip in most conditions. Very easy to resharpen. I own three different versions from Frost/Mora and one similar from Hultafors, and use them on a daily basis. Knife sits secure in the sheath without rattle or risk of falling out, but is still easy to get out. One point off for the clip on the sheath: On work pants sold in Sweden, there's almost always a jeans style button and a loop specificly for attatching a Mora/Hultafors knife. The only annoying thing is that the slot for the button on the backside of the clip on the sheath is a bit too narrow, making it rather hard to clip the sheath in place, sometimes almost to the point of risking to tear the button off. Sharpening works good with a small fine stone, with a 90 degree edge, making it possible to cover the entire blade. Harder to sharpen with a rod or diamond file inserted in a plastic casing. Overall a lot of use for very little money.
