GB01965: Powerframe - Plain Edge

Technical and sleek, the new Powerframe is a one-hand opening wonder. A strong stainless steel handle is cut out to save weight, while the titanium-coated blade and handles make it more corrosion resistant and less reflective. (And we think it looks really wicked, too).

Pros: Blade Material, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Weight, Handle Material, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Ease of Opening, None
Cheap diamond.
I use it at work as a partner to my Leatherman MUT - as it's easier to draw the blade on it, as it's always clipped to my shirt rather than sheathed in my belt as the leatherman is. Used to cut electrical wire, cord, fabric, canvas and my fruit for my lunches every day. Good: Feels super tough, very nice to use and hold. Good solid locking feel. Less good: Very (AND I MEAN VERY) stiff to open for the first while I had it. After some Inox and literally thousands of openings and closings it began to loosen up and became easier to open one handed. The frame-lock although excellent while on, is hard to disengage if done repeatedly (I like to fiddle with my blades) and could really do with a bigger catch for the thumb to cling onto.

Pros: Lock Type, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Blade Sharpness, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
It is light weight and very versatile.
I keep the Power Frame Lock knife clipped to my pocket all the time. I use it to open packages, as a utility knife and for hunting and fishing. It is light weight and very versatile. But don't lay it down on the ground with leaves around. The color blends in with organic material and may cause it to be misplaced.
