Pros: Design, Construction, Material Quality, Sharpness, Overall Quality, Durability
After two corded grinders failed in two years I decided to give a manual grinder a shot. Already owning a couple of Kyocera ceramic knives and impressed with their quality I purchased this model. Primarily used for coffee, after a dozen uses, I can say it fills the bill completely. Yes, it absolutely takes longer to grind for a pot of joe, but the grind is consistent, the effort to grind is minimal, the glass receptacle gets no static charge and is a breeze to clean, constructed of quality materials and designed simply, it also provides a few minutes of meditation while turning the crank. NO cords, NO screaming siren wail, NO large shelf space taken up by a soon to fail appliance. I fully expect years of service from this grinder.
