Pros: Blade Material, Handle Material, Overall Quality
Cons: Pocket Clip, None
The perfect gentlemans folder!
What can I say, this is the best gentlemans knife for the price! The combination of D2 steel, titanium, and cocobolo is a great combo at this price range. Lionsteel really has an eye for quality, this knife has no blade play at all, and the blade stays perfectly centered when closed. I wouldn't underestimate this little knife for bigger jobs! What's also great about this knife is it features standoffs, which aren't pictured on the website. I was stoked to find this out when I received it because standoffs are one of my favorite features. Now for the bad, which isn't much. I don't like the fact that such a great knife has plastic washers instead of brass. Brass will last a lifetime, plastic, not so much. I also am not a fan of the pocket clip, it doesn't go deep enough for my liking, and with such a small handle I worry about it falling out. Instead, I carry it in my small "watch pocket" and it fits great. A gentlemans knife doesn't need a clip anyways, so I may remove it.Overall, I think this a great valued knife and if you are in the market for a gentlemans folder, this is the one. I don't think you will find a combination of these materials for a better price. If you're looking for something tough and tactical, move on. But if you want something sleek, elegant, and quality, get this knife.
