Pros:
Cons:
Decent quality
Decent quality knife. The unique blade geometry does make for a strong blade, but it also makes it very difficult to cut in a straight line. That's not a problem cutting a rope, but making a straight cut in a piece of cardboard is a pain. This blade is a good scraper, a fair chisel, but a mediocre knife. Still, I was glad to add it to my collection, even if it won't see much use as my work knife.

Remember The Delorean ?
The Meyerco Maxx-Q BESH Wedge is right out of left field, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. If you like things a little different but you still want a serious knife this is sure to please. I still can't wrap my brain around the intensely engineered blade but I know I like it and that is enough. To tell the truth, it took a while for me to warm up to this knife. Without a full steel liner it felt a little hollow. The spring inside the handle makes a sound like a porch screen door stretching out its spring, and the edges of the G-10 scales seemed a little sharp. The paint was flaking off the flipper and it also had a couple sharp spurs that were roughing up my thumb. I don't know why but it is common to have to detail a knife these days when you get it new. A little grease and maybe a little sandpaper or a file and a some adjustment here and there is not unheard of but the fact is it gives the new owner a chance to get acquainted with the thing. In the end I saw the knife as a advancement, a little push forward in knife technology. This knife may very well be available for a short time so if your are interested in creative knife making be sure to catch this knife while it is still available. You might say it is the Delorean of modern knives.

Love the tanto blade
The tanto blade on this knife sets it off. The G10 handle also puts another good trait to this knife.
