4 star before, 5 star after....
The knife, as it comes, is a beautiful, well designed collaboration from 2 of the best....BUT, what were they thinking with that ridiculous belt/pocket clip. Like a beautiful girl with spinach stuck in her two front teeth. The remedy was quick, and painless. You do have to acquire the right tools to remove the tri-star screws, but you should have them anyway, providing you're a real knife freak like myself. I took almost 1/2" off of it, the clip, right before the clip bend, so I'd still have enough to grab my pocket seam. I also thinned it out for just appearance sake. Amazing how nice it feels without the damn clip literally sticking in the palm of my hand when held firmly. What a joke, visually, and physically! Came out perfect, and made it a 5 star with a half hour of light work. I also found the frame lock very stiff, next to my Brous Reloader, or my ZeroTolerance knives. Fixed that through patients, a lot of engaging and unlocking. Also, by adjusting the pivot screw slightly to make deployment quicker. Now it's perfect. I actually own two. One as a regular 'carry', and the other for show and to play with. Never would've paid $340. Got em' both for $299. I guess being hard to get is the compromise you've gotta deal with. 👎
