Great EDC Pack for my
Great EDC size for a tech guy like me with room for a 12'' Laptop (my Lenovo X220 exactly fits the backmost compartment with the flexible velcro strap). I can pack up the most important connectors and cables, paper notebook and pens, USB-sticks, a multitool and knife, tape, mobile phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses ... I would also usi it for a day hike - for this I just add a Mini Rollypoly pouch for a water bottle (1l Nalgene fits exactly). Actually I can fit in more stuff on less space and all of it is better organized than in my old Crumpler "Ugly Divorce", which is a great and stylish bobo-laptop-bag, but it's just not as cleverly designed. What's in my opinion also better solved with the Malaga than with other gearslingers is the symmetric layout - meaning it's suitable for left and rightside carry with just a quick Change of the strap. The quality seems as good as in my 7 year-old old Fatboy Versipack. Some Reviews say the shoulder strap keeps getting in the way when not in use - but I just stuff it in backpouch and usually it stays there. So no downside for me there. Moreover - the whole transaction with knifecenter was an even better deal than with Maxpeditions own online store. And compared to buying all the same stuff in Europe I saved about EUR 70,- after adding postage, customs and taxes (had an order with some extra items added to the Malaga). Would do it again.
