Pros: Overall Quality, Construction, Sharpenability, Sharpness, Material Quality
A Very Good knife for the Money Anywhere
I planned to use this knife as a general utility knife while camping.I thought it should do the job adequately, as with other, more expensive knives I own.The idea of having a "cheap" knife getting the similar job done appealed to me.This knife arrived in a shrink wrap. The other three (14", 10", & skinner) did not. This was the only one that arrived fully prepared to work. The other three were all in a state of inadequate grinding and sharpening that required my sharpening. The skinner was off in grinding, one side of the blade ground high, the other side lower. It appears that Old Hickory does a better job for the knives that goes out in a shrink wrap.
