OKC hunting and fishing knives are the best tools for the job! These knives are designed and by hunters for hunters. You will be proud to hand them down to the next generation sportsmen.

The redesigned Seneca, Cayuga, and Keuka Hunting Knives

The Beautiful Finger Lakes Region in upstate New York includes Ontario County. Each knife is named after a Finger Lake. These OKC Hunting Knives are made with the same skill and care that was common in the late 19th Century, except for the new ergonomic handle that features a mold injected handle with a polypropylene under mold and a Kraton over mold for great fit and texture.

These knives continue a point of view that a knife should be admired not only for its cutting ability but for its appearance, and a tradition that fine knives be passed on for others to use and admire.

A real sleeper...
I believe all of the knives in this series are out of production. This is a very well made knife. It came shaving sharp out of the box. It is classed a hunting knife, but is well suited for a variety of tasks in the field. I believe the handle should be a bit longer, and have a lanyard hole. If it had removable wood or micarta scales, I think it would have sold better. I suspect it was a cost reducing measure. The handle as it is seems pretty tough. I don't think the orange highlights were well received either The sheath is decent, but the retaining strap is a tad short. Overall I give it 4 stars.
