Bang for the buck.
I use this product as an every day carry. The best thing about this knife is the value. The quality is quite high as well. Design is nice. Good lock. Not flimsy in any way. Great looking knife too. I would have bought more than one if I had known it was such a great deal. You know how it goes: if I only knew then what I know now... Thanks Knife-Center

utilitac
One of the best knives I have gotten. I've asked others how much they think it costs and the normally double how much I paid. Brass washers make it so it opens quick and smooth. No play with the blade. I use it for medium use at home and work and it can take whatever i have thrown at it. Just didn't come that sharp out of the box.

Somewhat tactical EDC
I purchased this knife after buying an Ontario RAT 1. I carry the RAT 1 at work as a utilitarian knife. I have fallen in love with it and wanted to purchase another one to carry all the rest of the time. When I saw the Utilitac II knife I thought it would be a great tactical carry and great work horse for every day carry. I have had it now for over a month and have finally come to grip with it. It is a good knife; however I still like the RAT 1 better. The RAT seems to deploy smoother and with slightly less effort. I had to put some oil on the Utilitac knife straight from the box and work the action a couple hundred times to get to break in. I also attempted to loosen the screw which didn't help. After playing with it non-stop for several days it now deploys smooth. As for a tactical folder...it's ok. The drop point design with bevels cut on the top end of the blade help in with piercing however the handle is slightly shorter than the RAT and ends up be a little uncomfortable for my size of hand (Large Size Glove is a snug fit). It cuts very well too. However, again…the RAT 1 seems to pierce just as good with the different blade design. Overall the knife is very sturdy, great lock up, super sharp blade, and looks tough. The paint on the blade is crap, just like the RAT, but I kind of like the worn look of it after some use. Decent knife but NOT better than the RAT. For the price you won’t be let down. Hope this helped your decision.
