A real man's knife.
The first things I noticed about the RD6, when I got it in the mail, were its size and weight. It sharpens well and holds a good edge. I batoned a 2 1/2'' tree branch and afterwards checked the sharpness of the blade, it was still razor sharp. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this knife to anyone who is looking for a real knife.

Survival KNIFE
Solid knife. 1/4 inch one piece steel, full tang. Out of the box the blade had a decent edge but not enough to shave hair off your arm. Quality finish on the steel. Feels comfortable in the hand. The knife has a some weight to it but I dont find it as a problem...sign of reliabilty.

ONE GREAT SURVIVAL/ BUSHCRAFT KNIFE
Good steel, thick spine, tough blade and very sharp. Takes and edge and holds it well. Others commented on the sheath with the velcro. Mine came with the snaps. Ontario probably upgraded their new stocks with these. Some sharp edges on the Micarta scales. Nothing sandpaper can't fix. Excellent knife!
