Awesome blade!
Keeping it simple -Amazingly sharp out of box -Great steel -Firm grip fits hands well (even my 2XL hands) -Amazing balance -A little bit heavy -Horrible HORRIBLE sheath, but who cares with such an awesome knife! Overall an amazing knife I would say it is perfect for outdoor tasks and survival kits (if it is a good weight for your specific kit)

Used in Afghanistan
I ordered this knife and had it shipped to my APO. I used it for 9 months of my tour and was completely satisfied with it. The knife held its edge well and did everything I needed it to. I pried off door locks, cut cordage, batoned fired wood, opened crates of ammo, etc.. Never found anything I couldn't do with it, that I would use a knife for. Even the ANA soldiers wanted it. Now it is a part or my camping kit until the next deployment. Great knife. Oh, the sheath is awful, must make or buy a new one.

one hell of a knife
This is the knife i've been looking for, it will take care of any survival need i'll ever encounter and sells for a decent price at knife center with excellent shipping speed. Now for the crappy sheath ontario paired up with it. I just don't get it. I've bought cheaper knives that came with better built nylon sheaths. My son made me a great leather one for it and i am extremely happy with it. Would i reccomend buying this knife-most definitely. The sheath- scrap it.
