Description
RC6PCPB: ESEE-6P-CP-B Plain Edge, Sharpened Clip Point, Black Sheath, Paracord
ESEE Knives

This is the first large knife for ESEE Knives and quite possibly the finest balance and fit they have ever designed. The ESEE-6 will feature a high-quality Blade-Tech molded sheath. The ESEE-6 is shipped with a molded sheath and Clip Plate. You can also purchase optional MOLLE Backs and Gear Pouches for the ESEE-6 Molded Sheath.

These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH

An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for it's extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel, most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.

Cons:
This knife is top of the line. The sheath is excellent too. Not to crazy about the belt clip but just purchased a molle back and pouch, so now it's the perfect setup for an outdoor survival knife.

Pros: Materials, Handle Material, Blade Material, Finish, Weight, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
Excellent knife for it's price
This was the sharpest knife I've ever handled, and it seems to be retaining it's edge very well. The handle is very comfortable when working with the knife. No major complaints whatsoever. The rear/top edge is not as sharp as the main blade, but it is still incredibly sharp. The only negative that I have to say is that the sheath is somewhat awkward to attach to a belt (it is difficult to attach it in a way that is tight enough to easily pull the knife out without the sheath sliding around).
