Zancudo is Spanish for Mosquito but besides its compacts size, we cannot think of another similarity between this knife and the buzzing pest. The Zancudo was designed by the survival experts over at ESEE Knives, Mike Perrin and Jeff Randal, and was produced by Blue Ridge Knives. It's an amazingly slim, well built folder that you won't have a problem carrying and using every day. The framelock mechanism and FRN handle, with the solid, full length steel liners, provide serious strength to this small folder. The pocket clip is reversible but only set up for right hand carry and the knife weighs in at exactly three ounces. It's a folder we're very excited about here at the KnifeCenter because it gets almost everything right in a folding knife at a price point you're sure to be pleased with.

Amazing knife for the money
This is an excellent EDC knife. It is thin and overall a great size. Blade is sharp out of the box and I love the blade shape. There isn't much bad to say about it.

Great Super sharp EDC!
Use this for my EDC. I dont have a tone of knives, only 10 or so but ESEEs are my favorite for sure. This is by far the sharpest out of the box knife I have ever held. Just whittled my first hair with it. After carrying it for about 3 weeks and a quick touch up with a sharpmaker. Perfect size for my everyday use but im in IT so I dont need to carry my ESEE-5. Wish i could though. Bought one for a buddy and he loves it. Also carries everyday. Would have gave it 5 stars but the box says Made in Taiwan. And it doesnt have the ESEE warranty but other than that its Awesome for $30.
