A Lot Of Knife For The Money!
This is my current EDC large blade, along with a Leatherman CORE and a Gerber Curve. I bought it for rugged work and if necessary, for self-defense. The lock-up on this knife is like a bank vault! Very solid and impressive. Its not mentioned in the product description, but the beefy frame lock also utilizes a stabilizer. I've batoned with it to split firewood and it took it in stride. The blade takes a nice edge and mine has the Titanium DLC, (Diamond-Like Coating) which has held-up remarkably well. The only down-side that I've seen is the weight- Its NOT the lightest knife in the drawer and the lock sometimes takes a little extra effort to disengage...Esp. after batoning. ; ) IMHO- A great value!

color me impressed
I bought this knife at the same time I bought another Schrade knife and this one seems to be built better. The blade lock up is solid with out any wiggle, but the blade is very tight and a little difficult to open with one hand. The knife handle is very nice and is much better than I had ever expected. The blade was sharp enough, but with a little work on my fine ceramic rod I made the knife insanely sharp. I am much more impressed with this knife than I am with the other Schrade knife I bought.
